It's official, they're officials...

YOU can be official too! TCAL, our league, is offering an Officials Training Course. We invite all parent volunteers to sign up to be a league official. Here are the details:

When: May 30, 2019, 7:15-9pm
Where: Epiphany Lutheran Church
268 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, 43147
Why: Must have officials to run meets! Some officials have older swimmers and will be retiring soon.

You will learn to really watch a swim meet. You get to be where the action is with a front row view. Officials are an essential part of teaching young swimmers proper stroke techniques.

Current TCAL, YMCA, & USA officials in good standing do not have to take this seminar, but can if they want a refresher.

This is the only course scheduled this season. After the course, you will be qualified to officiate meets. You will have an opportunity to first work a meet with a mentor if needed.
