When will Tiger Sharks registration open?

March 17, 2024 - New Families beginning at 12pm (Register on website or in person at our Open House)

What are the practice times for the season?

Practices are daily Monday - Friday

Ages 11 and up - 7:00am - 8:00am

Ages 10 and under - 7:50am - 8:50am

How long is the season?

First day of practice: Tuesday May 30th

Last day of practice: Monday July 17th

What is the meet schedule like?

Here are the dates for Home and Away Meets. Locations and Opponents will be available once you sign up.

• -6/10, 6/14, 7/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/12 and Champs on 7/18

What is the cost per swimmer?

We are implementing a discount this year for families with multiple swimmers. The discount will apply if you register all children together and for your immediate family ONLY. $190 per individual swimmer/first child, $185 for second child in immediate family, $180 for third and beyond.

No pool membership is required.

ONLY IF your swimmer will be practicing with their winter club team ((i.e. YMCA, Greater Columbus, Hydra, etc) and only swimming meets with the Tiger Sharks, there will also be a discount. If you think your swimmer qualifies, please contact us before choosing this option.

What are the requirements to join the team?

There are three requirements to joining the Tiger Sharks Swim Team.

1. Swimmers must be between the ages of 5 and 18 on May 31st of the current season.

2. While we welcome all levels of swimmers to our team, our requirement is that your child can swim the minimum stroke distance for their age group, without stopping or hanging on the lane line. That’s 25 M for 10 & younger, and 50 M for 11 & older.

3. Parents or guardians MUST volunteer.

How do I register my child?

There will be a link to create an account on our website: http://members.tigersharks.us to register your children. Open to the public on March 17th, 2024.

Will parents/guardians be able to attend practices?

Parents will be allowed to attend practices. Chairs are available for parents during practice. We ask for the safety of the coaches and swimmers, parents and siblings DO NOT come onto the pool deck during practice. Please keep siblings out of the pool.
