    Hello Tiger Sharks!

Happy Father's Day to all of our Dads out there!  I hope you fully enjoyed this day of celebration for you!

Thank you to our incredible families for once again supporting this team by visiting MOD Pizza last week!  They were stunned by the turn out and offered to do a fundraiser for us next summer as well!  I hope you enjoyed their pizza!

    Volunteering:

Thanks for everyone's help with Saturday's meet. Our club prides itself on being able to efficiently host large meets and keep them to a quick 3 1/2 hours. Without our volunteers these meets would not be possible. It started with the set up Friday night. If you haven't seen this, it's truly impressive to see the pool transform to a competition venue, all in about 20 minutes. Saturday morning, we were short some timers but it was great to see additional folks step up and others offer to stay for a 2nd shift. While this created some organizational challenges, we overcame this without delay to the meet. This coupled with the diligence of our officials and starters, combining heats and keeping the races flowing, we were able to finish right around 11:30. The day concluded over the next 20 minutes as many swimmers and family members stuck around to reset the pool for recreational use by noon. Collectively another impressive effort! While we met the challenge on Saturday, we still have two more home meets. We would ask that everyone please consider reviewing and signing up for volunteer opportunities now to prevent any scrambling the day of the event. You can sign up at All Season Events - Tiger Sharks Summer Swim Club. If there are any questions or issues with sign up feel free to email Dustin or grab him at the pool. He's there most mornings.

    • Meet Results from PTS v. CWK have been posted.  Go to Meet Results to see them.

Some impressive swims took place on Saturday!  Congratulations to the following swimmers for breaking records:

    • Please make certain you declare your swimmers for Wednesday's meet!  The ability to do so ends tonight at Midnight!  Coach Bri will need to get the entries completed for the meet tomorrow after practice.  THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT!
    • Champs T-shirts:  If you would like to order a t-shirt for Champs, an order form is attached.  These are due by 06/29.  Please turn in your orders to one of the coaches or one of the Executive Committee Members.  No late orders will be accepted.
    • Spirit wear should be arriving in the next week or so.

    4th of July:

    • We are still searching for one or two parents to chair our 4th of July parade committee!  Please, if you have any experience with building floats or herding cats, let me know!  :)
    • We are also looking for someone with access to a truck with a trailer who will allow us to decorate the trailer and also volunteer to tow it through the parade route.

Once last thing:  Please make sure your swimmers are checking in with their coaches after EACH event they swim at meets.  This is the perfect opportunity for your swimmer to receive immediate feedback from his/her coaches!

Have a fantastic week and we'll see you at the pool!
