Tiger Sharks Get New Head Coach
The Pickerington Tiger Sharks are excited to announce and welcome Briana Savage as the team's Head Coach. Briana will be responsible for team leadership, athlete development as well as management and development of the team's Assistant Coaches.
Briana "Bri" Savage is an accomplished athlete. She swam competitively for Washington & Jefferson College (W&J), the Worthington Swim Club, and Worthington Kilbourne High School. In college Bri played defense on the Field Hockey team and specialized in the distance events (500-, 1000-, 1650-yards) on the W&J Swim Team. She has extensive coaching experience including the Worthington Wave, Swim Force, and is presently an Assistant Coach for the Pickerington North and Central Swim Teams. She also worked with young swimmers teaching swim lessons at Goldfish Swim School.
Bri earned her B.A. from W&J College and a Master of Education from The Ohio State University. She taught English in France and is now a French teacher at Pickerington Central High School.
Bri replaces Noah Worobetz who accepted a position at OSU Hospitals in pursuit of a career in medicine. The Tiger Sharks thank Noah for his selfless dedication to our team over the past two years. Noah plans to attend our meets to support our swimmers. The Tiger Sharks wish Noah the best success for his future.
The Tiger Sharks are a premiere summer, youth swim club at the Pickerington Community Pool. In 2018, the Tiger Sharks celebrate 30 yeas of developing young swimmers.
